With a visit from a film crew from Slow Food, the arrival of the new summer help and the Chappy staff ready to be trained, there wasn't very much room to move around in the small solar hatchery.
The scallop spawned as soon as they hit the table around 10 am. Most spawned first as male.
At 2 pm, Rick counted 47 million embryos.
This a good start for the season.
